How to Shop Prime Day Prepper Deals

The best way to take advantage of the sales rush around  Prime Day is the following:

1. Make a list of what you want IF it goes on sale
2. Stick to your list!
3. Watch for reputable brands only. There are a lot of cheap knock offs coming out of China. If you don’t recognize the brand name, it’s probably not as good of a deal as you think.
4. Historical price vs “discount price”; unfortunately many companies either a) overprice their products and then discount or b) are always discounted. Make sure you find trusted deal watching sources (like this page) to really ensure you are getting a good deal relative to typical pricing.
