Living where I do, there are not many stores available to shop other than the touristy stuff in town which is about 20 miles away round-trip by car. As a result, I do most of my shopping on the internet. This serves two purposes:
- I can window shop for free and be sure, really sure, before I make a purchase.
- I can shop for deals, percent off codes, and free shipping
At the end of the day, this means very little impulse buying which satisfied my frugalista nature just fine. Being a creature of habit, I tend to shop the same online stores over and over again. So, just for the record, here are some of my favorite online stores.

Drugstore Items, Toiletries and Cosmetics: If you watch for their specials, Drugstore.com can deliver real deals. Shipping is free with $25 purchase and you earn bonus points good on your next purchase with every sale. One of the best things, though, is that you can pick free “samples” with every order. I put “samples” in quotes because I have received full size bottles of hand sanitizer, hand lotion, scented candles and more.
Endless.com: This is my go-to store for shoes. Shipping is free in both directions and the sales are super.
Zagg iPad2 Case + Stand + Keyboard plus Awesome Earbuds: I have written about my iPad stand before. It is so versatile and makes responding to emails a breeze while using the bluetooth keyboard. I am surprised Apple did not come up with something like this themselves.
And the Z-buds? These are the best ear buds I have found for someone who likes to take an MP3 player hiking or to the gym to exercise. They have no line noise. I have purchased and returned ear buds at twice the price because of that annoying noise you get when the cord rubs against your clothing. You will love these.
