I have always been in love with duct tape. From the cheap stuff you get at the dollar store to the standard stuff from the local hardware store to the fancy and ever so effective Gorilla Tape – I just love this stuff.
A year ago I posted an article on the many uses of duct tape for survival. It went viral. Even so, I think that as a team, we can do better. I would like to see 50, 80 or even 101 uses of duct tape for survival purposes.
So there you go. Can you think of some additional uses of duct tape for survival purposes? Leave your comments below and let us take this to the max!
THE FINAL WORD
From time to time I feature bonus articles that are either buried in the Backdoor Survival archives or are articles that I have enjoyed on one of my blogging colleagues websites. Watch for announcements on my Facebook page.

3M Heavy Duty All-Weather Duct Tape: This heavy duty duct tape happens to be a favorite in our household.
Fix-It Duct Tape, 7-Mil, 3-Pack: On the other hand, we also keep a supply of this less expensive duct tape on hand (about $16 for three 60 yard rolls).
Gorilla Tape: And then there is Gorilla Tape which is the really tough stuff for the really tough job. Great stuff!
The monthly specials at Emergency Essentials feature discounts of up to 35% off sometimes a bit more. I have a monthly budget and each month I add a bit more FD products to my long term storage – always making my selection from sale items.
There are a lot new items that are put on sale each month – be sure to take a look.
Note: I earn a small commission on your purchase making this a great way to support Backdoor Survival which will always be free to everyone.
