More Prepping Tips for the average Joe & Jane

Print Friendly

Last weekend I spent some time as a desk potato browsing the internet for this and that and taking a sampling of some of the multitude of preparedness sites that would help me personally. OMG, this could be a full time job, something I already have. (You did know that I have a full time job didn’t you?)

One of the better sites I discovered was What I like about this site is that the tips and tools run the gamut of beginning prepper tips to living-off-the-grid survivalist tactics. Basically something for everyone. It is written by a fellow named MD Creekmore, a full-time blog writer & emergency preparedness consultant.

Here is what he says:

“You may find other preparedness sites giving the impression that you need fancy Freeze Dried Foods, a massive gun collection, a Hummer equipped with a gun turret and a 50 acre retreat secluded in some remote mountain top of Idaho. Although this may seem attractive on some level, it is not possible for the average Joe & Jane plus, nothing could be further from the truth!

It is my firm belief and conviction, backed with life experience that you can be practical, live efficiently well within your means and take positive, incremental steps towards preparedness success – all with minimal finances. Let me show you how to do it.”

He includes lots of checklists for getting stuff done, one step at a time.   Sounds like my kind of guy.

I found a couple of other sites worth reading . . . more on those next week.

Enjoy your next adventure, wherever it takes you!
